Солана повторно падна по пријавениот напад DDos

Another reported DDos attack was the cause of the latest Solana network failure early this morning. This is the third such attack on the Solana blockchain over the last 6 months.

The usually dependable Colin Wu of Wu Blockchain reported the news with a tweet on the Wu Blockchain Twitter account.

As of time of writing Solana has neither confirmed nor denied that an attack took place, although according to Wu, the network had fixed the issue by 7 o’clock (UTC+8).

Според Член on Yahoo Style, a previous attack in December, also a reported DDos attack, was said not to be so by Raj Gokal, the Solana co-founder. Instead, he stated that an IDO for the game SolChicks had caused heavy congestion which had slowed the blockchain down.

The last big outage suffered by Solana happened in September last year. That time, the network was down for 17 hours following a slew of transactions. The price tanked around 30%, from $220 to $140.

It must be recognised though, that Solana is still a relatively young blockchain, and attacks are always a possibility. However, for the huge amount of large investor interest to remain, developers will need to stop these outages happening.
