Ethereum Shanghai upgrade will allow validators to withdraw for the first time since people began staking in  september 2022 after the merge. Thereafter, we need to use the variables to calculate the churn limit. The number of validators able to exit the set every epoch (32 blocks).

The churn limit is then calculated as the total number of validators divided by the churn limit quotient. Then round down to the nearest whole number.

Remember that as the number of validators increases, it increases the churn limit as well.

Ethereum crosses 500,000 validators
